Fee Schedule
A Fee Schedule is a complete listing of fees used by health plans to pay doctors or other providers.
Fee-for-Service (FFS)
Fee-for-service is a method of insurance payment in which health care providers receive a fee for each service provided to the patient. Usually, patients may select a doctor of their choice and then either the provider or the patient submits an insurance claim.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
This lets employees set aside pre-tax wages for certain medical expenses not covered by insurance. The money must be used in the year it is set aside or it is forfeited.
